Living Skies Regional Council: updates and documents

The inaugural gathering of Living Skies Regional Council and the Service of Praise was held May 30-June 2 2019 in Swift Current. Click here for all information and materials.

On January 1, 2019, Saskatchewan Conference and its seven presbyteries became Living Skies Region of The United Church of Canada. (We were initially called Region 4… just to add to the confusion.) We may also join with Indigenous kin in Plains Presbytery in a new and renewed relationship, as outlined in the Caretakers’ Calls to the Church.

This is one of the biggest changes in the history of our United Church, and as we move into the new regional structure, communication is going to be very important. All key documents and updates from the Living Skies Regional Commission will be posted here until a new website is complete. These include: Commission reports, communications to communities of faith, pastoral relations updates, and more. Keep checking back! To stay even more up to date, sign up for our biweekly newsletter, the Regional Rambler. Back issues are found here; email Bev Diebert,, to sign up. On Facebook? Join our Regional group here.
